We're new, so here's what we'll put in writing instead
Chen Garage Door has just opened, which means we don't have a wall of reviews to show you. We'd rather say that than pad this page. What we can do is tell you exactly what you're agreeing to before anyone touches your door.
What we guarantee
- You get the price before the work starts, and that price is what you pay. If we find a second problem we stop and tell you what it would cost before touching it.
- The $39 diagnostic comes off the bill in full when you go ahead with the repair the same visit.
- Every spring we install carries a written warranty, and the terms are printed on the invoice rather than described in a conversation.
- If a repair we did fails within the warranty period, we come back and put it right.
- If the honest answer is that a repair isn't worth doing, we'll tell you that even though it costs us the job.
How to check us out before you book
Ask for the contractor's license number and look it up. Ask whether the technician coming out is the person you spoke to. Ask what the warranty actually covers and for how long. Ask whether the opener quoted includes the battery backup California has required since July 2019, because a quote without it is a quote for something that can't legally be installed.
Those four questions will tell you more about any garage door company, including this one, than a page of testimonials would.
