Worth checking before you call anyone
Several of these have a free fix, and we would rather you found it than paid us to.
- Garage door won't close Almost always the safety sensors.
- Opener runs but the door doesn't move The trolley or the drive gear.
- Garage door opener is completely dead Power first, then the logic board.
- Garage door remote or keypad stopped working Battery, programming, or a light bulb.
- Garage door is grinding or screeching Usually the rollers.
- Garage door won't stay open The door is out of balance.
- Garage door binds or drags on one side Often the opening, not the door.
