Before you call
How much does garage door repair cost in San Rafael?
Chen Garage Door repairs garage doors in San Rafael from $180, for a pair of lift cables. One torsion spring is from $225, opener repair from $185, and a tune-up is $79 for one door. The quote visit is free, day or night, and you get the exact price before any work starts.
How do the coupons work?
Say the code when you call or book. One coupon per job. CG-SPRING, CG-TUNE and CG-OPENER are good through Dec 31, 2026, and CG-SERVE has no end date.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?
No. The price is the same at 2am on a Sunday as at noon on a Tuesday, and the quote visit is free at any hour.
My car is shut in the garage. What do I do?
Call (510) 509-9998 and say the car is inside. We are open 24 hours. Leave the opener off until we get there, because a stuck or heavy door can strip the opener gear.
